Anybody can lodge an objection with a local council in relation to an application for a premises licence.  In order to properly lodge an objection to a premises licence, you must:

 

  1. Submit the objection in writing
  2. Submit the objection within the required 28 days consultation period
  3. Your objection must relate to the effect of the grant of the premises on at least one of the four licensing objectives
