The cost of lodging an appeal against a decision of a licensing authority has come down.

Amendment regulations (The Court Fees (Miscellaneous Amendments) Order 2019) that came into force at the end of last year (2019) has brought down the cost of lodging an appeal to the Magistrates’ Court from £70 to £60.

Most decisions made by licensing authorities are appealable to the Magistrate’s court in the first instance.
